10 Year Warranty:

The manufacturer warrants that there will be no leakage in the concrete structure for a period of 10 years from the date of instalation. This includes the seal where the two (2) units are joined. The warranty does not include moisture that may appear from time to time in the form of condensation, commonly due to temperature variations, humidiy, etc. Neither does the warranty include water that may enter the structure around the door or ventilator. Small cracks caused by expansion and/or contraction, which do not create a leakage or structural problem, are not covered by the warranty.

Our shelters are designed and constructed to protect you  and yor loved ones from any force tornados are capable of producing. Each shelter is made of fiber and rebar reinforced concrete rated at a minimum of 6,000 psi.

Safe Rooms

These Our concrete safe rooms are designed with your safety in mind. They are reinforced with fiber, as well as steel rebar, and are poured with a minimum of 6000 psi concrete.

The manufacturer cannot predict actual performance of any structure for tornadoes or severe storms, but this design incorporates current knowledge to best protect the occupants. The engineer and fabricator shall not be obligated or liable for actua, incidental, consequential, or other damages to users of this shelter for any purpose, including those installing or maintaining thereof.

Tips for Your New Shelter

It is very important to keep dirt packed around your shelter. After the first few rains, following installation, you will see considerable settling of the dirt around the unit. This is normal. It is necessary to rake the dirt back up against the shelter on all sides. It is recommended by the manufacturer that the dirt remains over halfway up the sides and back of your shelter.

To extend the life of the steel door hinges, it is recommended to lubricate them at least twice a year. Failure to do so may cause hinges to freeze up and/or break off of the door or door frame. Hinge replacement IS NOT covered by our warranty.

The steel door of your shelter has been painted with a metal primer. To prevent rusting, you may wish to re-prime and/or paint when needed. You may also choose to put weather-stripping around the inside of your shelter door to keep the water from leaking in during heavy wind-driven rains. Our warranty does not cover water leaking in around the door.

It is not nessary to put in any type of waterproofing agent on the outside of your shelter. The manufacturing process itself guarantees the water-tightness of the unit.
